A young couple's marriage unravels under paralysing financial burden when an evening alone erupts into a fierce argument, exposing resentment and blame. As emotional stakes rise, they are forced to confront the reality of raising a child in poverty.
We are pleased to present a first look at We Fall Apart, a domestic drama tackling the effects of poverty on a young lower class family. Our upcoming short explores poverty, domestic violence and family conflict. We hope for the film to entertain and stoke up conversation around these prevalent topics, in especially turbulent times.
We Fall Apart premiered at the Peoples Republic of Stokes Croft, during the Fragments Short Film Screening event on the 4th of October 2025. We were humbled by the reception and found that some audience members connect with the film on a personal level. More so than we hoped for, the film encouraged real conversations.
